Analysis:

The city of League City had a population of 105,351 in 2017 and experienced changes in crime rates such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, property crime, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and arson.  League City, TX had a 23% drop in violent crime along with a 50% drop in murder and a 44% drop in aggravated assault in 2018.

 

The city of Houston had a population of 2,338,235 in 2017 and experienced changes in crime rates such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, property crime, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and arson.  Houston, TX saw a 14% drop in rape, an 11% drop in robbery, and a 17% drop in arson in 2018.

 

The city of Beaumont had a population of 118,456 in 2017 and experienced changes in crime rates such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, property crime, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and arson.  Beaumont, TX saw a 29% drop in murder, a 20% rise in reported rape, and a 27% drop in burglary in 2018.
